"Make products that make our customers happy, while doing the least amount of harm to others and our environment

That is our mission in a nutshell. It was important to us from the beginning to use sustainably and ethically sourced ingredients, even though these come at a higher cost.
We purchase our oils, butters, micas, and herbs from companies committed to sourcing free from child labor and inhumane working environments.
We have chosen to use animal fat bases for most of our soaps (excluding some custom batches) as a responsible healthy way to use a byproduct of the meat industry that might otherwise be wasted.
As much as we know how, we make choices that are kind to our neighbors and sustainable for our environment.
